Hand Operation

21st January 2009

Norman had a very big operation on both his hands on 4th December 2008.

It was to stretch the tendons that had shortened in his fingers and Left wrist. He was in plaster for six weeks, and on 16th January 2009 He had the plaster and staples removed. There were 85 staples in total And it was extremely painful.

As you can see from the "Before, During and After" photos his hands are in a much more functional position now and He is using them (especially the right hand) well. I'm sure that with Continued physiotherapy he will regain full use of his hands, but we are Still asking you all to continue praying that his eyesight returns. Please Keep in contact as Norman loves to hear from you all.

Lots of love,
Norman and Sue.
